The process is very random due to a number of variables (below).  In most cases I can get creative to maintain the intended design, but the worst-case scenario is a purely random pattern that still provides an aesthetic result.

Yes, I can provide the wood of your choice or I can burn wood (furniture, etc) that you own. In order to achieve the necessary conductivity for the burn to take effect, the wood must not have any finish. I may be able to remove the finish in some instances but virgin wood is ideal.

I am mobile for those that have furniture that can’t be easily disassembled for transportation.

• The process creates a lot of smoke and is best done outdoors, but working indoor is possible with adequate ventilation
• Water is the best method for cleaning the burns, but dry cleaning is possible if using water is not an option
• The cleaning and finishing process is dusty and messy, but the surrounding area can be protected to minimize mess
